Prior to establishing her entrepreneurial venture, The DFC, Bina gained extensive experience working with several leading national and international organizations, as well as serving as an independent consultant.
Throughout her career, she has successfully managed and cultivated high-level relationships with key decision-makers across government bodies, industry sectors, industry associations, bilateral organizations, academic institutions, diplomatic missions, national and international organisations, thought leaders, and other strategic stakeholders.
She has worked closely with cross-sector industries to facilitate, provide specialized services and support aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency, competitiveness and opportunities. She has also conceptualized and implemented a range of initiatives and projects to support industry development and foster collaboration and achieve organisation objectives.
Bina has actively coordinated with stakeholders to contribute into the promotion of industrial policies and has assessed their impact on businesses and development. She possesses extensive experience in trade and investment promotion, including actively participated in the planning and execution of major global investor summits and various initiatives.
Her expertise includes work towards strengthening trade and investment, developing strategies, identifying emerging opportunities, building high-value project pipelines, coordinating significant trade and investment projects and facilitating high-level domestic and international delegations and stakeholders meetings. She has also explored opportunities for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), large-scale development projects, and supported various research and reports.
In addition, she has represented and overseen organizational operations in Gujarat, demonstrating strong leadership and operational management capabilities. She has also managed responsibilities including, interfaced with stakeholders, initiated initiatives to encourage and strengthen bilateral trade relations and trade dialogues. She has significant experience to work on initiatives aimed to bolster, facilitate and support the bilateral trade opportunities and driving strategic engagement.
Bina is an effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, complemented by hands-on expertise in training and capacity building. She is highly proficient in developing and implementing operational frameworks, policies, procedures, strategic plans, and execution mechanisms. Her key areas of interest and passion include social and economic development, collaborations and joint ventures, technology advancement, innovation, and research & development (R&D).
